About the Russell County Democrats

Greater Together

We believe that we're greater together than we are on our own — that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules.

We strive to elect to public office those individuals who hold these same beliefs and who will represent Russell County with integrity to make it a better place to "live, work, and play." We advocate in our community and across Southwest Virginia for local, state, and federal candidates that support policies that raise up all Virginians and fight for equality and justice.

We are the official Democratic Committee of Russell County, sanctioned by the state and national Democratic parties.

The Russell County Democratic Committee is sanctioned by — and works alongside — the Virginia Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee. Together, we're part of a statewide and national coalition fighting for Democratic values.
